About

Felix Kraemer is a research assistant and Masters student at the Mediated Matter Group. With a background in the design and prototyping of interactive artworks, he focuses on creating interfaces between mechanical processes and the dynamic environments of living organisms.

Felix holds a B.A. of Arts in Industrial Design from Burg Giebichenstein, Germany. Previous to joining the Mediated Matter Group he has worked at the art collective Random International (London) and has created artworks and exhibition designs from his studio in Berlin.

Having worked on the fringes between art and design, his interest lies in applying the rich dynamics of the natural world within design processes.
