Nic Hogan is a research assistant in the Mediated Matter Research Group. As a Masters student, he studies the use of generative design and organic materials for the creation of structures that dynamically participate in and promote living systems.
Nic graduated from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Science degree in biomedical engineering and a Bachelor of Arts degree in neuroscience and received a Masters Degree in Design Studies from the Harvard Graduate School of Design where his thesis centered on the reaction of living system designed environments.
